Tues.3rd.Jan.
Rained during the night and to my horror found water had got into the van off side, behind driver's seat.  On inspection found sealer between over cab roof and main van was not sound and I removed and replaced it.  I hope it's done the trick, when we get a dry day I think I'll renew the whole seam.  We drove into Trapani and had a walk around the old town.  It's a pretty town with enormous waterfront.  We took some pics and put them on Facebook.  We decided to cut across country, north to Castellmare del Golfo to a campsite instead of west to San Vito lo Capo as we wanted to begin checking out possible locations for Ian's visit next week.  It meant waving goodbye to our friends Geert and Maria for a while but no doubt we'll bump into them again soon.  The site we're on tonight is pretty basic, it's called Play Time, the lady in charge is very friendly and there is a washing machine, Jan has her TV and I have my computer so all is well.  Fish for dinner, cooked in a bag with herbs.  So good I had to have a glass of wine.  The washing is on the line and it's just begun to rain.  Cest la vie!!
