Mon. 2nd. Apr. And so - back to Venice. Arrived at St. Marks Square by boat on a sunlit morning and it was every bit as beautiful as last time. We bought 3 day passes for unlimited travel on the vaporetti and made the most of them from the start. Great value. We took a circular tour on no.2 which took an hour and reoriented us then wandered around taking it all in again. Jan just loves the place. Did a little shopping, got Jan's last 2 charms for her bracelet, it's now full. Just wasted the day, enjoying it. Home about 5.30 and chicken for dinner. Geert and Maria are here after their weekends racing at Imola. Tomorrow we share a gondola. Expensive but has to be done.
