Sun. 15th. Apr. Julie's birthday, happy birthday Julie. Jan took a walk alone in the morning in the rain. She thoroughly enjoyed it, couldn't get lost as she walked along the Luongolago there and back to Bardolino. She reported that it is very nice, must see it tomorrow. We had our own bike race here with what seemed like hundreds of riders, the route went through the campsite and onto the waterfront, lots of very wet muddy men and women on what looked like mountain bikes. In the afternoon during a lull in the rain we walked along the Luongolago to Garda. Extremely pretty, must take the camera tomorrow. Skyping was a nightmare, bad internet connections again. Glad of the TV today, weather kept us trapped indoors for most of it, I did, however, put the awning up when the rain stopped, temporarily, and barbecued some chops. Forecast a little better for tomorrow, washing day. Again already!!
