Kevnjan's big adventure.
Sat. 10th. Mar.
After a walk around Vada and a visit to the fishmonger we set off up the coast for Marina di Pisa. As you would expect in Tuscany, the journey was pleasant and the views were gorgeous. Sea one side, pretty countryside the other. Livorno was a pleasant surprise. We drove through it by the water's edge and for much of the way the seafront was parkland and grass. We stopped for a while and walked in the sunshine, although the wind still had a keen edge to it. Marina di Pisa is about 15 Ks outside the main town but worth the trip. The sea front stretches for miles and is pleasant walking. Hundreds of people shared our view as they walked up and down eating ice cream and enjoying the spring weather. We checked onto a sosta about 7.30 after skyping with Anthony and Julie and families. Late dinner of salmon was delicious. Pisa proper tomorrow.
