Kevnjan's big adventure.

Fri. 30th. Mar. First day of our long weekend before re-visiting Venice. Took a long walk this morning and went along a jetty with huts on stilts from which are suspended large nets which are lifted and dropped by a collection of ropes and pulleys. Never seen them before, only one of the nets was in the water and we hung around hoping to see it lifted out. Didn't happen, one assumes it would be full of fish. I'll probably never know. Pictures on Facebook. The morning was beautiful, clear, bright and sunny with a cool breeze. We walked for miles and after lunch spent the afternoon in the chair, sunbathing. Jan and Julie somehow managed to talk for nearly 2 hours on Skype. How do they do that?? Another long walk this afternoon and gelatto reward. Steak for dinner. Can't wait. Skyped Geert and Maria last night. Another reunion planned for Venice.
