Kevnjan's big adventure.

Mon. 26th. Mar. We've spent the last three days on a sosta outside Mantova, in a place called Grazie. There is a santuario, (monastry) there, on the banks of the lake. The setting is beautiful. This morning we walked to it and in gorgeous sunshine enjoyed the peace and the surroundings. The light is perfect and we had the place to ourselves, there's a lot to be said for visiting these places on Monday mornings. Later we returned to the city, parked the van on a car park by the river and set off for more sight seeing. We walked miles and discovered that the river boat we'd planned to ride on doesn't go on Mondays. The weather is perfect, must have hit 75+ today. We're staying on the car park tonight, it's free. We like that. This is the first day of my latest no booze stint. Don't miss it so far. Verona tomorrow. Must say we're beginning to feel drawn to a beach, this weather is too good to waste.
