Kevnjan's big adventure.

Wed. 28th. Mar. Changed the beds this morning and headed for the launderette. Found one just outside Este, on the way to Padua. Spent most of the afternoon washing and shopping. Hell because the weather was perfect again and we wanted to enjoy the sun. Drove quite a way, through agricultural country but picturesque nevertheless. We ended up at Battaglia Terme on the ss16, about 5.30. There was a diversion which totally confused satnav girl and took us out of our way and when we got here the sosta is not what we expected. A bit rough and ready but it will have to do. The town looks lovely, we'll have a look tomorrow, think we might check out the Terme too. Looks like we might be back in Venice by the weekend. Traumatic day so taking a glass of wine today. I've earned it!! Currently barbecuing pork chops and sausages, can't do that without wine.
