Kevnjan's big adventure.

Tue. 20th. Mar. Today we walked into Modena from our free sosta about 3Ks out of town. We enjoyed the walk but were a little disappointed when we realised that the Duomo, which is very special, was undergoing extensive renovation and was under scaffolding and tarpaulins. We were able to go inside though and it's probably the most impressive interior of all the churches we've seen. The town of Modena is very smart, lots of fashionable piazzas and loggia. The indoor market is a gem, got some of our favourite calves liver for dinner. Left Modena around 2pm and headed for Reggio Emilia, set up on free sosta about 1K out of town and had a walk in before dinner. Looking forward to examining it more closely tomorrow. Time for wine. Weather could do with cheering up a bit, had to wear long trousers today.
